Engineering a Heavy-Duty Solution

This project posed several key challenges — all of which were overcome through close collaboration between our engineering, fabrication, and site installation teams:

  • Heavy-Duty Wire Rope Hoist System – Designed for continuous operation with overload protection and frequency-controlled travel
  • Precision Control System – Dual-speed inverter drive for smooth start/stop motion and precise positioning
  • Load Safety Devices – Redundant limit switches, load cells, and emergency braking system integrated
  • Maintenance Accessibility – Platforms and walkways for easy inspection and service access

Installation & Commissioning

Given the crane’s size and weight, careful planning and logistics were essential. The crane girders and components were delivered in segments, pre-assembled on-site, and lifted into place using high-capacity mobile cranes.

Commissioning Process Included:

  • No-load and full-load functional testing
  • Load balance and alignment checks
  • Operator training session
  • Safety system calibration
  • Handing over of manuals and maintenance schedule
